Pre-School, The Tale of the First Day

Now comes the story of what happened after Mom and Dad heartlessly left their child in the pre-school. As I said, trying to keep John in the room was like trying to block a blitzing linebacker in American football. According to his teacher before we were even in our vehicles and out of the parking lot John had ceased his fit. It makes sense to me as we are the ones he was trying to get attention from and since we were gone there was no reason to keep throwing his tantrum. She said he behaved well and wanted to help her. He painted and paid attention to her. Play the videos to see how we found him when we returned to pick him up.

According to the note that she sent home all of the students were signed up for the Summer Reading Program and we are encouraged to read with them at home. On Thursdays they will have water days and I need to bring John in his swimming trunks so that he can play in the water. Then the children will change into their clothes and later the ice cream truck will come by so that they can have some ice cream. I think that will be an adventure for him as so far he doesn't seem to like eating it very much but if he sees the other kids then perhaps he will change his mind. So far so good but we'll see how Johnito reacts on Thursday when I take him to class. It may be difficult for a few days but ultimately it is a good way for him to grow and develope as a person and can only help him.
