It's been awhile but finally I got around to putting up these pictures. Johnny ended up getting a lot of candy this year. Connie made his costume by herself and everyone liked it.

Family Trip To Blue Hole

We went to Blue Hole which is located East of Salina, Ok on Monday August 13th. It was the week before school started and I wanted for the family to be together and specifically so that Johnny and I could spend time together. We need to more of this next summer. The water (spring fed) was cold got surprisingly deep.

First Day Of Kindergarten

I finally got on wifi somewhere and the pictures uploaded so that means the problems I'm having is either due to my internet provider at home or my computer. I tend to think it's my internet provider. Anyway, here's more pictures from John's first day of Kindergarten. 

More Pictures From The Beach

At The Beach

Towards the end of July we realized that we were not going to be able to go to the beach in Galveston like we had planned. Since money is so tight instead we looked closer around home and drove about 45 minutes away (depending on traffic and how fast you drive) and went to the Taylor Ferry North Recreation Area just on the other side of Wagoner, Ok. Yes it's a man made beach and not a natural one but it's the best we've got. It wasn't too bad and it wasn't crowded and we ended up enjoying our family time. Afterwards we stopped at the Pizza Port for calzones and a cheese pizza for John.

Johnny sure can jump!

Watch Johnny leap out to his teacher, the boy can cover some distance. Of course he could just stretch out and fall in and cover over four feet but still, I'm proud of my boy.

Johnny Learning To Swim

Whenever I take Johnny into a pool he clings to me like an octopus. Hopefully he's getting over that as he takes his lessons. He definately is enjoying himself.

Johnny takes swimming lessons

Johnny started taking swimming lessons last week (thanks Bertha) and is starting to really enjoy it. Of course he's the biggest in the group but he is starting to really jump out to his teacher.
