Johnny at Bounce U

We received an email from Johnny's pre-school from the last school year and they were having a get together at a play area here in Tulsa called Bounce U. It's a big indoor area with slides and bouncy things for kids to enjoy. Johnny went immediately to one tent that has air cannons that shoot really soft foam balls and once he figured out how to fire it he didn't want to leave. He went down the slide next to it once and immediately returned to firing the air cannon. Eventually he did move on and experience the other things that they had and he had a lot of fun. As soon as I can get the videos up you'll see more. I'm sure we'll be going back as soon as we can afford it.

Here's a picture of Connie's birthday cake. We only had a candle for the four and not the zero. Johnny got mad because Connie needed to use the computer so he threw a fit and laid on the floor. The thing is he cried so much that he ended up falling asleep.




Bertha sent an Olive Garden gift card and my Mom sent some money for Connie's birthday so we went there on Sunday. She wanted to order some calimari for an appetizer and when it came Johnny asked if it was chicken (because of course he wanted to eat chicken nuggets) so I told him that it was similar. The only problem we encountered was that he had to choose which piece he wanted instead of letting us put one on a fork for him. So he ended up eating the calimari and I won't let him know what it was. Wish I had a picture of that though.

The little drummer boy

This past Sunday we went to my best friend Tom's house to celebrate the 4th of July. While there Johnny accompanied me into Tom's music room and tried out his drumset. I recorded it on my phone and I found out that Johnny changed my video recorder to black and white and I tried fixing it but couldn't get it quite right. Honestly he's put pictures, videos and who knows what else on my phone and I'm sure he'll continue to make changes on it for some time.
