My how he's grown!

Just a note to let everyone know that John was weighed and measured last week on 11/16/09 and he was 44 pounds and 40 inches tall. And that's at 2 1/2 years old folks. The boy is huge. to say the least. Maybe Connie and I can get to work on creating a brother or sister for him but could we have another that was even remotely close to him in size? Scary thought.

John made a friend for the day and they both liked rolling down the floor. He's tried to interest other kids since then but to no avail.

Halloween pictures!!!

It's a little late but nevertheless here are some pictures of John taken on Halloween. This year he was Spiderman and last year he was Superman so I wonder what he will be next year? Personally I tried to get him to be Darth Vader but he was adamant in his refusal.

This one was taken while Connie was taking her certification test to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. It was at the Mayes County Vo-Tech center. After being bored for quite some time while we waited John and I ventured outside to play in the leaves and walk around the trees there. It was a bit dark so I hope this one turned out good enough for you to see.

This was on Saturday Nov 21st at a local park. Johnny loved kicking and then chasing the ball and then covering it with leaves and uncovering it. Listen to his squeals of childish joy.

Ruby, A co-worker of mine had a cookout today and John had a good time playing. She lives a bit out in the country and has a lot of land.

John and I decided to go for a walk today and the place we went to is about 2 blocks away from the house. John enjoyed getting outside and especially liked going up to the trees and hiding behind them. He's wearing the Spongebob shirt that Mama Bertha got him.

I've been having a lot of difficulty loading videos here lately and I can't get it to work. I think it's a problem with my internet provider and I'm just about ready to get rid of them and try another. So until I get it figured out her's some more photos.

2009 Tulsa Powwow

We attended the 2009 Tulsa Powwow in July and here are a few pictures from it:

Okay, I came home tonight to find the lights on and John & Connie sleeping in the bed. Since I couldn't find the camera I used my cellphone so that's why the quality isn't so great but it was so cute I just had to capture it.

Here's a short video of John and my nephew Justin going down the slide at the Huntington Mall. John was only supposed to go down it about 5 times but I had to drag him away kicking and screaming after about 12 times. Once he starts he doesn't want to stop.

While we were back home we went to Walmart and John tried on some headgear, unfortunately Connie wouldn't let him buy any of them. He still looks adorable though.

My sisters wedding

I haven't done much posting lately but there have been some good reasons for that. I'll get into those at a later date. Last month (June) we traveled back home for my sister Teresa's wedding. It was a great time especailly for the family to be around Johnito so here's a few pics from before the wedding. More to follow in the coming days.

Johnito vs Donito, No holds barred!!!

We were at the Red Robin restaurant and Johnito decided to flex some muscle on dear old dad and you'll see how quickly he started claiming "baby" when I showed him who was really the boss. The kid is a laugh riot.

Oh how the boy loves his cake! You can see in one of these pictures just how tired Johnito was getting. Shortly afterward he fell asleep in my arms but before that he had a lot of fun and wants everyone to know how thankful he is for their gifts.
