Here is John showing how much he loves Pringles. Seriously, he's addicted to them. If hes sees a can he has to have them or he'll throw a fit unparelled by all babies before him. Be patient and wait until about 1 minute 10 seconds in to see a special dance move.

John had his checkup today at the doctors. He's 17 months old give or take a day and measured in at 35 inches tall and 32 pounds 6 ounces. Of course he's still over 100% for his age as he has been since the day he was born. Luckily for him he doesn't have to go back for 6 more months. Let's just say he didn't enjoy the experience of getting 2 shots. Afterwards we visited my job to let everyone see just how much he has grown. For his visit he was awarded with lots of candy and on the drive home he quickly fell asleep. That's all for now.

Johnito swinging

Check out Johnito swinging at the park. This should show you how big he has gotten. He'll swing for as long as you let him. Just don't go very high, for now.

This is on the way to the Illinois River where we went rafting. John's having fun listening to the music.

Pictures of Johnito

Here are some recent photos of Johnito. We went to one of the local parks and let him play wherever he wanted. He loves to discover new things and he is really quick at picking them up.

Here he's discovering the joys of playing in sand.

He was amazed when he saw this area.

And of course here he figured out he could sit in the cabinet, it's just his size once he moved some of the pots and pans out of the way

For this final picture here we are at the Illinois River in Tahlequah. We went rafting with a few people. Normally they don't let such a young child go but the river was low. Unfortunately he hated wearing his life jacket and Connie left his bottles in the car. All in all we had a good time, John really loved it when we stopped and swam, he's a little water dog. I'll post some more later this week if I can get the computer to work. Later......................

And away we go

The purpose of this blog is for family members to keep up with what's going on in our world. Since we are seperated by large distances I think the web is a wonderful way for us to keep up to date with each other. Keep coming back for more updates. On a side note, if you're not a family member or friend you may not care for this so much especially if you're easily bored. Don't say you weren't warned.
